A brief guide to the national museum /
The collections of the National Museum, founded in 1949 as a result of the sucessful showing in New Delhi of the loans to the great exhibition of Indian art held in Burlington House, London in 1947-48, were first exhibited in the Darbar Hall of the Rashtrapati Bravan (President´s House).
