Summary: | This project pretends to contribute to acquiring best quality results in the teaching-learning process of English as a foreign language. The use of technology opens up a whole world of opportunities for teachers and students, helping students assimilate knowledge in a way that is different from the traditional system. Internet, particularly, is an informational resource that gains more importance at a great speed due to its production of interesting changes in education. Regarding English teaching, technology unleashes a whole new world of innovative and modern educational tools which help to catch students´ interest and attention to learn English, an issue, which even today, has still considered and looked upon as boring and unimportant. Thus, our aim is to motivate teachers to implement on-line activities in their curriculum and discover the many advantages they offer, such as the development of creativity in teachers to design and use activities according to their students´ needs and interests. Also, the development of critical thinking, cooperation, values like responsibility, and skills like reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Finally, with this project we would like to encourage teachers to change their attitude and take the challenge of making the English teaching-learning process a great experience with optimum results in the classroom |
