Summary: | This paper focuses on the concept of motor disability, based on a socio-educational
model which centers on the needs of the person and not only on their physical
deficiency. The paper examines the needs of pupils with motor disabilities at a personal, social, familial and educational level, and in particular, emphasizes how their disability affects their self-esteem and social and family relationships. In conjunction with this, it
outlines the issue of educational inclusion experienced by students with physical
disabilities. And finally, the paper presents a semi-structured interview model designed to evaluate cases and carry out needs assessment.
