Description
Summary:Natural Family Planning (NFP) is not a contraceptive method but fertility awareness. It empowers women through education, charting and interpretive skills towards self-knowledge, health reasons and family planning purposes, to be in control of their reproductive health. Substantive literature supports its comparative effectiveness with contraceptive methods but remains a myth to both clinicians and health care users. The aim of the study was to understand perception of clinicians regarding offering NFP to patients as part of reproductive health care.
