. However, in
U.S. persons aged 0-14 years, brain and other CNS tumors were the most common cancer
site with a mean annual age-adjusted incidence rate of 5.65 per 100,000 population3
(Figure 1). Overall, pediatric brain tumors remain a disease with a very poor prognosis
and few effective treatments. |
