Summary: | The present work seeks to outline the conception of Rights of Nature in the
Ecuadorian Constitution of 2008 and behold the application of green nudges like a tool for its
materialization. The first chapter refers to the recognition of Nature as a subject of subjective
rights and analyzes the difference that it implies with respect to the traditional paradigm.The
second chapter briefly outlines the Environmental Management System, considering the
mechanisms or tools that the State has to materialize the rights of nature. The third chapter
analyzes the application of the nudge theory in environmental matters, based on its
characteristics, principles and the process that allows effective nudges to be designed;
considering also the ethical aspect that it represents and the importance of social aspects for
environmental problems. With the present work we seek to contribute to the study of new
tools that allow the materialization of the rights of Nature
