description The objective of this study is to provide scientific evidence on the analysis of the structural weight of a plural fixed prosthesis of a polymeric material obtained by the additive technique (3DPP), in order to offer a viable alternative for the treatment of plural fixed prostheses and dental implants. Methods. We worked from a 3D printed resin structure of 4 dental pieces ranging from pieces 2.3 to 2.6, said structure was subjected to compressive forces that simulated the masticatory system of the human being by means of a universal test equipment, a 3D finite element analysis was carried out to determine the deformity of the material. Results. The mass of the structure was 1.98 gr, in the compressive force tests it supported a load of 1000.88 N, its stress distribution was 16.726 MPa; while its tensile strength was 143,916 MPa. In the finite element analysis of the 3DPP structure carried out in the Ansys software, a deformation with a value of 0.001mm was observed, and a stress distribution of the material of 15.36 MPa. In stress values, a minimum value of 2533.4 MPa and a maximum value of 12667 MPa were recorded. Conclusions. The structural weight of the 3DPP material was determined, providing important information to take into consideration in the use of PPF, thus verifying its functionality and performance.
